Part of the responsibilities of the District is to locate all water wells within the county by use of GPS
equipment. The District also gathers information about the wells including depth of the well, static level of
the water, casing size, and pump information.
Currently the District is working in Blocks 24 and 25 (the eastern portion of the County), but locates wells
on property as new wells are drilled or old wells are replaced, and if ownership of property changes.
